The Kids are out!
We now have about 30 one month old kids in the paddock next to the cheesery. They are having a ball in the spring sunshine and love playing on the fallen tree. A delight to watch!
Capriole (white mould ripened lactic curd) is now ashed. The ash tones down the acidity and allows the sweetness of the cheese to shine through.
For the Kids
Main Ridge Dairy is a family friendly venue. We have toys and colouring for two legged kids, not to mention a great grassy area for running around on! We do baby chinos, a kids cheese platter and have some yummy cookies. Our girls are usually in the paddock next to the cheesery on the weekends and they always love a scratch!

Cost is $180. We supply everything you need to make your cheese (hoops, cultures, milk), lunch and a milking tour.

If you would you like to meet our milking herd and see how a goat dairy operates come along on one of our dairy tours. Tours are at 2.30pm on some Saturdays and bookings are essential. We will run tours on Thursdays also during the summer holidays.

On kidding tours we meet and check our expectant Mums, have a cuddle in the kid shed and have a quiet peak in the dairy (the girls are very shy at this time of year!).
We have three platters ranging from a small Nanny Plate to the Billy Goat which has five of our cheeses and crackers. The Kids Platter (for the little cheese lover) has changed, but is still available.
